Benue To Commence Payment Of New Minimum Wage

The Benue State Government, yesterday, said it will commence the payment of N30,000 new minimum wage for civil servants between level 1 and 6 in the state this month.

Secretary to the State Government, Professor Anthony Ijohor (SAN), disclosed this at a joint press conference with labour officials in Makurdi, the state capital.

Ijohor said the implementation of the new minimum wage followed the resolution reached at the end of the meeting between the state government and labour leaders.
