Buhari should explain why he refused to sack service chiefs – PANDEF
PANDEF Spokesman, Mr. Ken Robinson, who made this call during an interview with The PUNCH on Tuesday, said the interaction should be devoid of political sentiment that would defeat the essence of the meeting.
He said, “The primary issue is the insecurity in the country; that is a major challenge, which is also related to the economic issues in the country. Nigerians are getting frightened by insecurity because they think their lives are no longer safe in the country. Nigeria is currently being classified as the third most terrorised country in the world.
“The federal lawmakers should bold and without fear of any kind to ask him what his programme is to fight killings, kidnapping and armed robbery and ensure insecurity is arrested without any further delay.
“The President should also be asked steps that have been taken to restructure Nigeria. The interaction with Mr. President should be devoid of political or party sentiment.
