Hundreds Dispointed as Ponzi Scheme scams them

Hundreds of people on Monday thronged the Paper Aku Stadium Makurdi, the Benue state capital expecting a reward for their investment were disappointment.

The people who converged at the stadium from different parts of the state as early as 6AM came expecting to receive items for Christmas from a Ponzi Scheme called Inksnation.

It is reported that the people had registered with N2,000 each and were to receive N12,000 in three installments either in cash or consumables for their investment. 

The investors who were directed to assemble at the stadium met their disappointment as no official of the purported investment scheme came and no explanation was given.

Speaking to one of the investors, he said he had come to get N4,000 worth of items. According to him, there was no word from the Inksnation, adding that after waiting under the sun for a long period, it became clearer that they had been scammed.
