BREAKING: Killer Herdsmen Attack Benue Community, Seven Feared Killed

According to reports, killer herdsmen have attacked Tse-Abagena, a community in Benue state. It is reported to be a community close to Makurdi, the Benue state capital.

According to sources, the marauders killed 7 locals in the community which is host to an IDP camp.

In another development, the Governor Samuel Ortom has condemned the attack, describing it as inhumane, barbaric and unacceptable. He called on President Muhammadu Buhari to live up to his responsibility of protecting Nigerians. 

According to information available, some angry youths have blocked the busy Makurdi/Lafia Federal road with the dead bodies protesting the attack, calling on relevant authorities to intervene.
